The award-winning Printronix Auto ID T6000e just got better with unique capabilities new to the market. Integrated RFID and barcode inspection are now available in a single printer allowing users to print and encode RFID labels, and inspect and grade the quality of printed barcodes in a single pass. The T6000e is available for purchase from qualified resellers and distributors.
Save Time and Money
One printer can now do the work of multiple devices to create a new level of productivity and cost savings. Print and encode RFID labels and perform barcode inspection to ISO standards at the same time. No longer are two separate machines needed to perform two completely different functions. Print, encode, verify and validate labels in a single pass.
Easy Setup and Configuration
The printer is extremely easy to set up and configure with features such as a pre-mounted barcode verifier, RFID auto-calibration, and Barcode GPS functionality that automatically detects and anticipates barcode alignment, and much more.
Print and Encode RFID Labels at High Speeds
RFID functionalities include our Encode During Print firmware that renders inlay placement issues a thing of the past. The T6000e supports high-speed encoding and can encode high memory chips using advanced commands. A wide variety of label types are supported by this printer, from standard smart labels to on-metal tags to thick Returnable Transport Item (RTI) labels to rigid horticultural tags, and many other varieties as well. Labels with a pitch as low as 0.625-inches can be encoded with precision and reliability.
Defend Chargebacks with Detailed Grade Reports
The optical scanner on the printer finds, reads, and grades up to 50 barcodes per label. Each barcode is graded using ISO standards and given a letter and numeric score. The output report contains the grading score, the ISO grading elements, type of barcode, and barcode content. An image of each printed label is archived and available for download. The reporting capability of every label helps organizations defend chargeback fees and penalties.
Detect and Re-Print Bad Labels Automatically
The optical scanner and RFID reader are integrated into the printer’s main control system to enable action if a bad label is detected. If the label is scanned and determined to be below the acceptable ISO standard or the RFID reader detects a faulty label, the printer will automatically back up the label, overstrike the bad label so it is not used, and reprint a new label without operator intervention.
Generate Reports in Various Formats
With RFID and barcode inspection fully integrated into the printer, reports that show barcode quality and information, RFID data, and combined statistics can be easily generated with our free PrintNet Enterprise utility in XML and CSV formats for integration with host systems.
Future-Proof Your Business and Print the Labels Your Market Demands
Many industries and applications now require both ISO-compliant and RFID barcode labels. The retail industry, for example, is well known for mandates concerning barcode quality and readability. Failure to comply can result in costly fines, fees, and returned shipments. Today, major retailers also require incoming shipments have RFID labels. The ability to generate a label that fulfills both sets of requirements from a single printer is a major innovative step forward for the industry.
Other industries facing similar requirements include pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, the automotive industry, aerospace, and suppliers of perishable goods. RFID labels are increasingly being required for both the goods themselves (products and parts) and shipping units such as cases, cartons, and pallets. The T6000e with both RFID and barcode inspection is also popular among service bureaus across all industries and applications. Orders for RFID labels with guaranteed and traceable barcode quality can be generated by the service bureaus from a single printer, saving time, money, and improving overall customer satisfaction.
