The Symbol DS6700 1D/2D Imager Scanner combines the functionality of a barcode scanner, digital camera and document scanner in a single, cost-effective device. From point-and-shoot simplicity to accurate barcode scanning to capturing full-size documents, this device is the right tool for the job.
Text enhancement technology makes the scanner able to handle even the finest-grain text. Omni-directional scanning and a wide working range means that even novice users can begin scanning with minimal training.
DS6707-DP (Direct Part Marks)
CAPTURE 1D AND 2D BARCODES SEAMLESSLY
The DS6707-DP is the premier general purpose scanner which offers the maximum in data capture flexibility. The DS6707-DP is able to capture images and read virtually all 1D and 2D barcodes and direct part marks (DPM) — including the most challenging mark, dot peen.
DS6707-HD (High Density)
VERSATILE SCANNER BRINGS AFFORDABLE HIGH DENSITY BAR CODE SCANNING TO ELECTRONIC COMPONENT ASSEMBLY
The affordable Zebra DS6707-HD brings a new level of efficiency to electronic component manufacturing by enabling the automated capture of virtually every type of bar code utilized in electronics manufacturing. The DS6707-HD supports the complete set of high density marks common in electronics manufacturing environments, including laser etched, ink marked, chemical etched and inkjet bar codes. Tuned to address the unique challenges in electronics component assembly, the DS6707-HD scanner is optimized to accurately capture high density and low contrast marks, including black bar codes on white backgrounds; white bar codes on black backgrounds; and etched bar codes with a very low contrast tone-on-tone effect — where there is very little difference in color between the mark and the background material on which it is printed.
DS6708-DL (Driver License)
GENERAL PURPOSE HANDHELD DIGITAL IMAGER SCANNER
The Symbol DS6708-DL barcode scanner combines all the features of Zebra’s standard DS6708 imager, including omni-directional 1D/2D barcode scanning, with an embedded parsing agent that enables users to read the PDF417 barcode on a US drivers license and use that information for a multitude of applications.
Because the parsing is done in the scanner and the output is controlled by the user, the scanner can easily be used in all environments with very little start-up effort.
