Thermal ribbons made of wax, resin, or wax-resin are compatible for any thermal transfer printer. By using Thermal Transfer Labels and Ribbons your labels will not smear, smudge, get scratched, or damaged by temperature. Perfect for anybody applying labels around harsh chemicals (laboratories, factories), extreme temperatures (freezers, factories), or outdoors.

Ribbon Types

Wax – Most popular choice. Best for short-term durability. Good on paper tags & label. Suitable for shipping labels, pricing labels, and indoor use.
Wax/Resin – Resistant to scratching, smearing, and some chemicals. Good on coated tags, paper, & film. Suitable for short-term outdoor use.
Wax/Resin + – Designed for dense, high definition images with superior edge quality and excellent durability on coated, synthetic, and high gloss receiver materials. This mid-range ribbon prints at high speeds and is totally static free.
Harsh Environment - Highly resistant resin formula resists damage from the toughest chemicals, including petroleum. Withstands temperatures of up to 300 °F.
Multi-Layer - Made with multi-layer binding and release technology for optimum printing quality.
UV Security - UV Ribbons is a cost-effective alternative to the security of holographic laminates. UV allow you to print YMCK visible or invisible (only viewable under UV light) security features on your label, tag, or card with high quality UV text or image. With invisible UV text or images, you can track every card issued by your company and verify its authenticity.
