The CipherLab 1166 linear imager scanner or CipherLab 1266 Laser scanner is an extremely robust device and has a 5 feet drop specification on to concrete. The 1166/1266 is able to read 1D barcodes across a range of up to 100 meters. The CipherLab 1166/1266 series boasts an amazing operation time of up to 45 hours or 32,000 scans on a single charge. The unique technology inside the 1166/1266 allows the device to capture 256 barcode scans while out the 100 meter range.
