The Problem: EOL for BarTender 2019 and Earlier
BarTender 2019 and all older versions are now officially unsupported. They are not receiving critical security patches. Running these is like leaving your digital front door unlocked, they rely on outdated components and pose bigger risks. Your IT department will thank you for upgrading.
These unsupported versions will reach official End of Life (EOL) in 2026:

The Consequences
After these EOL dates, the party's over. Customers on these versions will no longer be able to add printers, upgrade editions, or receive any technical support, including critical activation help.
Critical Requirement: Transition to Subscription
If you are running BarTender 2019 or earlier and want to keep things running smoothly, here is your crucial deadline:
Effective July 1, 2025, you must convert to an active subscription plan to renew your Maintenance and Support, add printers, or upgrade.
