The most basic application of all that will scan any barcode and save its value to a file. Additionally, a timestamp and the type of barcode are added to the file. Scanning can be configured to keep barcode entries sorted and/or keep them unique. Barcode data can be saved in a file by day, by device or by user.
Solicom Superscan is an easy to use application that simply scans and stores all types of barcode scan entries. Timestamp and barcode type are added to each record. Via configuration, various restrictions can be applied so that not every barcode is allowed. Barcode entries can be stored in chronological scanning order or alphabetically. A check can be added to avoid duplicate entries. The name of the output filename can be flexibly defined using terminalID, userID or a timestamp.
