Our Solution includes a data collection device and two printers. The solution assumes that children are brought into your Day Care Center and require that you dispense medication during the day. The child is given a barcoded wristband (that is one of the printers: a wristband printer) and you print a duplicate barcode label which is printed using the 2nd printer and placed on the medication bottle. When the child needs his/her medication, the Day Care Center employee scans the wristband and scans the bottle of medication. IF they match, the scanner display reads OK and beeps once. IF they DO NOT match, the scanner reads NO MATCH and beeps three times to indicate the error.
