Inspection program is ideal for fixed assets or high-value items – such as automobiles, construction equipment or plant maintenance and tooling equipment.
Description
This application runs on most Windows Mobile terminals; it provides the capability to have a visual inspection of an item and a rating system substantiating the condition of the item. Information about these high value items can be uploaded from the mobile device to a host PC by simply connecting via USB cable or docking cradle.
Features
The system allows objective conditional rating of several item aspects, including overall appearance, mechanical, electrical ratings, as well as overall condition rating (all scale 1-5, with 1 being the highest or most significant). Items are assigned a serial number, which can tie to the serial plate, item label, asset tag or assigned by the user.
The system can be tailored for a variety of inspection types, from automotive to capital assets. It also has a pre-built Spanish translation.
Customization
The Application contains an opportunity for customization to meet your specific requirements. Customization attributes include:
- Custom names for Menu buttons – this will greatly help with Application navigation by using your own companies vernacular
- Data Field Names – can easily be changed , for example if your company tracks ‘Assets’, the word ‘Product’ can be changed to ‘Asset’
- Data Field List – user selectable drop down menus are available for customization of your own data.
- Data Input Values – are variable in length for the most flexibility to meet your data requirements
- Data Files – are easily stored on the mobile device until your ready to upload them to your computer. The files are sorted by record and individually named so nothing can inadvertently be copied over.
